We Care Services for Children serves families with children ages 0-6 at risk for experiencing life-impacting developmental and behavioral health challenges. We offer a wide array of targeted, effective, and compassionate services designed to meet the individual needs of each child:

  • Early intervention services via our inclusive classrooms, state preschool, classroom for toddlers with autism or at risk of autism and developmental playgroups;
  • Mental health services provided in the home and in our clinic and classrooms;
  • Individualized, coordinated, family-driven wraparound services; and
  • Mental health consultation for the licensed childcare community in Contra Costa County.
  • State Pre-School and early childhood developmental classes

Bilingual Facilitator (Spanish/English)

The Bilingual Facilitator ensures the Wraparound process is implemented with fidelity while maintaining a strength-based, nonjudgmental approach. This role engages youth and families, forms and leads Child and Family Teams (CFTs), develops and monitors individualized plans, and coordinates services that reflect the family’s priorities, culture, and strengths. The Facilitator promotes collaboration across systems, supports crisis planning, tracks progress using required tools, and provides direct support consistent with the Wraparound plan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage families by listening to their story, identifying strengths, needs, trauma history, and vision for a better future
  • Explain the Wraparound process, including voice and choice, confidentiality, and team participation
  • Identify safety concerns and facilitate safety planning as needed
  • Form and facilitate Child and Family Teams (CFTs), mediate differing perspectives, and build shared agreements
  • Develop, implement, and revise individualized plans based on family priorities
  • Coordinate services, monitor accountability, and support effective team communication
  • Track progress using CANS, WFI-EZ, and TOMS tools
  • Manage flexible funding processes and required documentation
  • Provide crisis support and celebrate family successes
  • Complete required documentation and Medi-Cal billing

Qualifications

  • BA or MA preferred, and/or relevant experience working with children (birth–5) and families
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (spoken and written)
  • Experience with Medi-Cal billing
  • Strong facilitation, conflict mediation, and organizational skills
  • Strength-based, empathetic, and culturally responsive approach
  • Knowledge of diversity, equity, inclusion, ICWA, and public service systems
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Certified (or eligible) to complete CANS

Additional Requirements

  • Criminal background and fingerprint clearance
  • TB clearance and standard physical
  • Pay commensurate with experience

Pay Range: $27 – $30/hour with the opportunity to earn an additional incentive. This description highlights key responsibilities and is not a comprehensive list. Additional duties may be assigned.
